Terre del Marchesato

TERRE DEL MARCHESATO – TUSCANY – ITALY

A story that began in 1954, when Emilio Fuselli, a farmer from the Marche who emigrated to Tuscany in Bolgheri, bought a plot of land from the Marquis Incisa della Rocchetta.
With the working of this land and an essentially agricultural production, he built the house, the foundation of the family. After him, his son Aldo continues the business with the expansion of the land by introducing the production of extra virgin olive oil. But it was Maurizio, after a ten-year experience at Antinori who took over the reins of the company, radically transforming it, planting only vineyards.
The great passion for the land transmitted to him by his grandfather Emilio, the search for quality as his goal and the high training already gained previously in the field, allow Maurizio to hone his skills by leading him to the construction of the cellar: small, but innovative and functional, designed to combine the most advanced winemaking techniques with genuine tradition.
The first harvest was in 2003 with the release of “Emilio Primo”, in honor of the grandfather who inspired and rooted it.
