Montepulciano D’Abruzzo 2020 – Masciarelli

Montepulciano D'Abruzzo 2020 - Masciarelli
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Montepulciano D’Abruzzo
Varietal: 100% Montepulciano.
Denomination: Montepulciano D’Abruzzo D.O.C..
Alcohol content: 13,5% vol.
Vintage: 2020.
Serving temperature: 14°-16° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with a very intense ruby red colour, quite consistent.
It offers a fairly complex and good quality range of perfumes. Intense aromas of flowers are accompanied by hints of red-fleshed fruit and Kentucky tobacco.
The sip is pleasant, medium-bodied, and quite balanced in its parts.
An everyday wine, of good quality, even if an “entry level”. Personally I liked it a lot: a way to appreciate and get to know Montepulciano D’Abruzzo. A perfect wine for future tasters.
