Wine: Vieilles Vignes
Variety composition: 80% Cabernet Franc, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Denomination: AOC Anjou Rouge – Val de Loire.
Alcoholic strength: 12,5% vol.
Vintage: 2016.
Serving temperature: 16° – 18° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with an intense ruby red color and good consistency.
The nose is quite complex in its bouquet of perfumes. Notes of moderately dried red flowers are followed by addictive and intense hints of ripe red pulp fruit, reminiscent of plum, blackberry and currant. Light note, in closing, of vanilla.
The sip is important, with tannins that are not yet perfectly integrated, but with great prospects: a sign of an interesting aging potential. Quite persistent with an aftertaste of ripe fruit.
A wine to pair with traditional French meat dishes.
