Wine: Saint-Émilion
Variety composition: 90% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc.
Denomination: AOC Saint-Émilion – Bordeaux.
Alcoholic strength: 14% vol.
Vintage: 2019.
Serving temperature: 16° – 18° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, ruby red color with light garnet reflections, good consistency.
Sample with a fairly complex bouquet where the fruity component is dominant even if enhanced by hints of spices. It is the small red berried berries that envelop the taster’s sense of smell: blackberries, currants and plums. The olfactory range is completed by hints of cardamom and cloves.
The sip is of medium structure, with soft and velvety tannins. Persistent with a pleasant fruity aftertaste that caresses the palate.
Campione paired a beef stew with onions.
