Noir 2019 - Tenuta Mazzolino
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Noir
Variety composition: 100% Pinot Nero.
Denomination: Oltrepò Pavese D.O.C..
Alcoholic strength: 13,5% vol.
Vintage: 2019.
Serving temperature: 16° – 18° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with an intense ruby red color with evident garnet hints, consistent.
The olfactory bouquet is enveloping, varied, intense and of quality. Effluent of fruity notes reminiscent of small red berries: blackberry, currant, raspberry and wild strawberry. The examination is completed by hints of spices such as freshly ground black peppercorns and hints of precious woods. Closing with a light balsamic note.
Harmonious sip, a well-smoothed tannic texture. Balanced in its components, it gives a persistent aftertaste of ripe fruit.
It is recommended in combination with roast pheasant.
